Donation to Bournemouth Breast Cancer Ward
Hampshire Whites donate £200 to local charity

Mike Andress, Hampshire Whites member and driver asked for the Bournemouth Hospital's Breast Cancer ward to be the recipient of one of our charity contributions.
This was as a thankyou to the staff in the ward for the support they gave him and his wife, Sue after she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017.
Mike, Sue, Andy, Mick, Chris and Jacqui travelled to Bournemouth to present the cheque on behalf of Hampshire Whites.
Sue explains what happened:
I was diagnosed with Breast cancer in 2017 following a routine mammogram.
After investigation and in depth scans they found another tumour and I was then diagnosed with lobular stage 3 breast cancer.
A few weeks later I had a mastectomy and 6 rounds of high intensity chemotherapy.
I count myself lucky every day that the original lump was picked up from a routine mammogram and was quite horrified to learn of the percentage of ladies that do not turn up for these appointments.
I am so happy that the raffle money was allocated to Bournemouth hospital and in particular the breast cancer unit.
I know this money is very much needed and everyone at the jigsaw unit are so supportive and amazing.
Thank you again for ear marking these funds.
With best wishes
Sue Andress
