Constitution


Branch Rules

Members should make themselves aware that:

  • All monies owed to the Branch are to be paid promptly.
  • All Members are to respect the Branch Constitution and be supportive of its aims.
  • Abuse and/or discrimination on grounds of gender, race or religion will not be tolerated, especially against other Members.
  • Where transport in a car is arranged for a game, pick up points are at the driver’s discretion.
  • Where transport is in a bus or minibus, pick-up points will be notified on the Branch’s web site. Information will also be available over the telephone from the Chairman, Secretary or Treasurer for Members without internet access.
  • When tickets become available, a £10 deposit for each ticket booked must be paid at least 25 days prior to matches.
  • No refund will be given on tickets if your booking is cancelled within 7 days of the match, unless the ticket can be re-sold.
  • The Branch will endeavour to sell any individual’s match tickets, but a charge of £3.00 per ticket may be made by the branch.
  • For matches where tickets are in short supply (home or away), names of members who have applied for those tickets in the correct manner will de drawn at random in order to allocate the tickets fairly.

Branch Constitution

The Branch will:

  • Endeavour to arrange transport to as many matches as possible, dependant on interest.
  • Obtain as many tickets as possible from Leeds United Football Club’s official sources for members of the branch.
  • Provide regular information to members regarding matters of interest to the branch.
  • Meet on the first Monday of each month, in order that members may air their views on matters affecting the branch and/or their membership.
  • Raise money for the branch for the benefit of all members.
  • Provide a liquidity state at each meeting, in order that members know the true worth of the branch account.
  • Divide the branches assets equally between all paid up members, should the branch dissolve.

Members will:

  • Abide by all rules as set out by the official Leeds United Members Club, Leeds United Football Club and branch rules.
  • Respect the rules of the branch.

Definitions:

  • The branch – the Hampshire Whites official branch of the Leeds United Members Club.
  • Member - a person who has paid up membership to the branch.
